Safeguarding

St Peter’s is committed to making sure that everyone can worship and attend church safely.

We have two Safeguarding Officers appointed by the trustees who work to ensure that St Peter’s remains a safe place for children and adults, including those who are vulnerable.

Any safeguarding concerns, including those regarding children, young people or vulnerable adults, should be reported to the Safeguarding Officers as soon as possible. These will always be dealt with quickly and sensitively, including by signposting people to additional services if necessary.

You can contact the Safeguarding Officers by emailing safeguarding@stpetersvauxhall.org

You can also contact the Safeguarding team for the Diocese of Southwark by telephoning 020 7939 9476.

St Peter’s has adopted the Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding policy, ‘A Safe Church’. View our safeguarding plan (doc). The full safeguarding policy can be read on the Diocese of Southwark’s website.
