This Summer
Prayer & Worship - WEDNESDAY, 7th May
At St Peter’s, we love to begin each term as we mean to go on—with prayer and worship. Join us on Tuesday 7th May at 7pm for an evening dedicated to lifting up the name of Jesus and praying for our church and local community. It’s never the wrong time to worship together, and there’s always a need to bring our hearts before God. Come and be part of this powerful time as we start the term in unity and faith.
Bring and Share Meal - SUNDAY, 18th May
On Sunday 18th May, we’re hosting a Bring & Share meal at St Peter’s, and everyone is welcome! Whether you’re joining us for the 11am service (stay for lunch) or the 4pm service (stay for dinner), we’d love for you to be part of this relaxed and joyful time together. It’s a great way to connect, share good food, and build community. If you’re able, please bring a dish—sweet or savoury—to contribute. Let us know what you’re bringing so we can make sure there’s a great mix!
Men’s BBQ - TUESDAY, 1st July
We’re firing up the BBQ for a Men’s Night at St Peter’s House on Tuesday 1st July at 7pm. This will be a relaxed evening to hang out, eat good food, and enjoy time together as brothers in the church. We’re encouraging everyone to bring something to throw on the barbecue—meat, veg, or whatever you fancy! Whether you’re new to St Peter’s or have been part of things for a while, this is a great chance to connect. Sign up here if you’d like to come along—we’d love to see you there!
Women’s Night - TUESDAY, 17th June
We’re looking forward to a Women’s Night at St Peter’s House on Tuesday 17th June—a chance to connect, unwind, and enjoy time together. More details will be announced soon, but for now, save the date and stay tuned. It’s going to be a great evening, and we’d love for you to be there! Sign up here.
Annual Meeting - MONDAY, 12th May
Our Annual Church Meeting is coming up, and we’d love for you to be there. This is a key moment in the life of St Peter’s—an opportunity to reflect on where we’ve been, celebrate what God is doing among us, and look ahead to where we’re going as a church. If you consider St Peter’s Vauxhall your spiritual home, this gathering is for you. We’ll be sharing updates, listening to one another, and inviting new members to join our Board of Trustees. Come and be part of shaping the future together.
Pentecost & Baptisms - SUNDAY, 8th June
We’re excited to be celebrating baptisms at our Pentecost service on Sunday 8th June at 10:30am. Pentecost is a powerful day to celebrate new life in the Spirit, and baptism is a beautiful, public declaration of faith in Jesus. If you’re interested in getting baptised, or even just exploring what baptism means, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch to find out more or to sign up. Come and celebrate with us—it’s going to be a joyful and significant morning!
Evensong - WEDNESDAY, 23rd July
Join us on Tuesday 23rd July at 7pm for a beautiful, traditional Choral Evensong at St Peter’s. This will be a peaceful and reflective service, rich in scripture, music, and prayer—an opportunity to pause midweek and be still in God’s presence. Whether this is your first time experiencing evensong or it's a long-loved tradition, all are warmly welcome.
FAMILY PICNIC - SUNDAY, 20th July
On Sunday 20th July, we’re heading outside for a Church Family Picnic in the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, just next to the church. Join us from 12:30pm—bring some food to share and a blanket or chair to sit on. It’s a relaxed and fun way to spend time together, enjoy the sunshine (we hope!), and connect with others in the St Peter’s community. Everyone’s welcome—come hungry and ready to hang out!
10:30 am Services
From Sunday 26th July to Sunday 30th August, we’ll be shifting to a single Sunday service at 10:30am each week. During the summer months, things naturally quiet down a bit, so we’re bringing everyone together for one joint service. There will be no 11am or 4pm services during this time. We’re looking forward to worshipping as one church family—see you at 10:30!
